Terms of Service
Email Automation MCP · Last updated: November 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Email Automation MCP (the "Service"), an independent application developed by Lavish Gupta. By connecting a Google account to the Service or otherwise using it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Email Automation MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects Gmail with MCP-compatible AI assistants and provides tools for authorized email automation workflows, such as sending emails and running email workflows that you or your AI assistant initiate. Available functionality may change over time. The Service is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.
How the Service handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms, Google's Terms of Service, and the policies that apply to Gmail. You may use it to send and manage email that you are entitled to send, to recipients you are entitled to contact.
5. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Service to:
- send spam or unsolicited bulk email;
- conduct phishing or otherwise deceive recipients about who you are or the purpose of a message;
- commit or facilitate fraud;
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
- engage in unauthorized email activity, including sending email from an account without its owner's permission;
- abuse Gmail accounts, including circumventing sending limits or Google's usage rules;
- send emails without appropriate authorization or without a lawful basis to contact the recipients;
- distribute malware, or send harassing, threatening, or unlawful content;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to reverse engineer the security of the Service.
6. Email Automation Responsibility
You are responsible for the email content and automation actions that you initiate, whether you perform them directly or an AI assistant performs them on your instruction. AI assistants can make mistakes, misread instructions, or act on content you did not intend. Review what your assistant is going to send, and especially check recipients before running any workflow involving multiple recipients. Emails that have been sent cannot be recalled by the Service.
7. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- keeping your Google account and any connected AI assistant or device secure;
- having the rights and consents needed to email the recipients you choose;
- complying with laws that apply to your email activity, including anti-spam and data protection laws;
- promptly revoking the Service's access if you believe your account or assistant has been compromised.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service works together with third-party services that the developer does not control, including Google (Gmail and OAuth) and the MCP-compatible AI assistant you choose. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and the developer is not responsible for their availability, behavior, or content.
9. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an as-available basis. It may be changed, interrupted, limited, or discontinued at any time, and it depends on third-party services such as Google, which may change or limit their APIs. No uptime or performance level is guaranteed.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, text, and design, is the work of Lavish Gupta, except for third-party materials that belong to their respective owners. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You retain ownership of the content of the emails you send and of your Google account data. Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC and are used only to identify the services the Application works with.
11. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that emails will be delivered.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, reputation, or business, arising from your use of the Service, including emails sent in error or by an AI assistant on your instruction, or actions taken by Google against your account. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking its access in your Google Account. The developer may suspend or end your access to the Service at any time, including if you breach these Terms or if your use puts the Service, other users, or third parties at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as the disclaimer and limitation of liability, will survive.
14. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
